Hello everyone! Something I have especially been missing these days is California weather. While many other states in the US have 'seasons,' Southern California is different. As I mentioned in my first post, Los Angeles is known for being sunny every single day of the year. Even in the Winter, you will find people at the beach, soaking up some rays of sun. This is why so many people move to California!

Although Southern California is always sunny, California is so big that the weather changes when you drive North! The famous city of San Francisco, for example, is in Northern California. Even though it is still sunny in San Francisco, it also gets cold during the Winter and there is a lot of fog. In the picture below, my friends and I are standing near the San Francisco Bridge. You can't see it because of all the fog that day!

If you travel all the way to the Northern Border of California, you may finally see snow. Every year, for Christmas my family drives from Los Angeles to Redding, California to visit family and friends. Redding is a small city in Northern California close to the border. Because of this, we usually see snow on our drive and have a white Christmas.

Below, I've included a weather forecast for Southern California. A forecast is a short video on the news that explains the weather. The weatherman or woman predicts what the weather will be in the future.
Now it's time for you to tell me about the weather in Madrid. What is the weather like on most days? Are there seasons? What is your favorite season? Have you seen snow? If you feel creative, pretend to be a weatherman or woman and predict the weather for this week. You can use the video above as an example and present to your parents!
